OVERVIEW
Summer School on Quantum Computing 2021 เป็น summer school ที่จัดแบบ online เหมาะสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาตรีและบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจเรียนรู้ทางด้าน quantum computing ซึ่งเป็นเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ที่ใช้คุณสมบัติทางควอนตัมมาช่วยในการคำนวณโดยใช้ระยะเวลา 4 วัน ตั้งแต่วันที่ 27 - 30 กรกฎาคม 2564
ผู้เข้าร่วมทุกคนจะได้เรียนรู้ตั้งแต่พื้นฐานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ quantum computing จนถึงการประยุกต์ใช้งาน โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก IBM quantum team และเหล่าคณาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี นอกจากนี้ ในระหว่างการอบรมยังมี challenge problem เตรียมไว้สำหรับผู้เข้าร่วมที่อยากท้าทายความสามารถเข้าแข่งกันการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาทาง quantum computing โดยผู้เข้าร่วมทุกคนสามารถถามคำถามและติดตามการอบรมได้ใน facebook

ตลอดระยะเวลาการอบรมทั้ง 4 วัน จะเป็นการอบรมทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ โดยการบรรยายช่วงเช้าเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ และทำปฏิบัติการช่วงบ่ายเป็นภาษาไทย ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมที่มีเวลาในการอบรมเกิน 80% จะได้รับ certificate of participation ในการอบรม และสำหรับผู้ที่ทำคะแนน challenge problems ได้สูงสุดจะได้รับ certificate of excellence

YURI KOBAYASHI
Asia Pacific lead for IBM’s Quantum Developer Community
She has a background in experimental condensed matter physics and is passionate about developing strategy and executing unique and scalable quantum education programs. She designed and developed the first IBM Quantum Challenge, which is a global competitive programming contest using Qiskit and IBM Quantum systems and has worked with multiple universities and industry clients to promote education and open science in the field.
KIFUMI NUMATA
Qiskit Advocate at IBM Quantum Community
She is working on organizing quantum events, the localization of technical documents for motivating quantum developers mainly in the Asia region.
TAKASHI IMAMICHI
Researcher at IBM Research - Tokyo
He belongs to Quantum computing team. He received his Doctor of Informatics degree from Kyoto University in 2009. His major is combinatorial optimization. He has been contributing to the development of Qiskit and focuses on Qiskit optimization.
YUKIO KAWASHIMA
Quantum Application Researcher at IBM Quantum
He received his PhD at University of Tokyo. His major is quantum chemistry, and mainly worked in research for scaling up quantum chemistry calculations for both classical and quantum computers. He also has experience in client engagements with chemical industry.
ATSUSHI MATSUO
Researcher at IBM Research - Tokyo
His research interests include quantum circuit synthesis, compilers for quantum circuits and quantum algorithms for current noisy devices such as variational quantum algorithms. He is also working on developing Qiskit, especially Qiskit optimization.
